A wonderful adventure with hiking into the Stone Age and Bishop Brasken’s times. You will enjoy both Göta Canal and lake Roxen. Meals and accommodation at Kapten Bille’s means you will never go hungry during your tour – we’ll always send you something delicious to take along in your day pack.
You will arrive around 2pm, checking into a double room and collecting a back pack we have prepared with afternoon “fika” – that’s Swedish for coffee and something sweet. You will undertake a 2.5-hour tour along lake Roxen, watching some ruins from the Stone Age and Bishop Brasken’s times. You will enjoy your ”fika” overlooking the stunning lake Roxen.
When you return, there will be plenty of time to get ready for a delicious three-course meal composed by ”Kapten Bille”. The next day, after a long breakfast and with a packed lunch in the back pack, you will head out along Göta Canal. You will be back at Kapten Bille’s in time for afternoon fika, when Kapten Bille will serve his famous Apfelstrudel before it’s time to head home again.
