Once upon a time, a man named Bille sailed on the Göta Canal. The boat he sailed on was called S/S Pallas. The majestic canal boat whistled as it approached Norsholm. Surely, Bille was very proud as he stood at the helm and looked out over the beautiful landscape. The many years of sailing along the canal, from the 1930s to the 1940s, had surely taught him a thing or two. The lock at Norsholm was just one of the 58 locks he would pass.
